Wonder Wales.
Exploring the geography, history, and culture of Wales.
Wonder Wales began as an Instagram project, sharing unknown, overlooked, or less-travelled places across Wales. The focus was never on the obvious landmarks, but on the quieter sites, the edges, the forgotten corners, and the places that still carry the weight of history if you stop and look.
As the project grew, so did the need for something more permanent than social media.
Wonder Wales has since evolved into a dedicated app that allows users to explore Wales through its historical sites and landscapes, and to track their own journey across the country. From castles and abbeys to ruins, industrial sites, and hidden locations, the app helps users record where they have been and discover what still remains unseen.
The aim is simple: to encourage deeper engagement with Wales, not simply as a checklist of attractions, but as a connected historical landscape shaped by centuries of people, conflict, belief, and survival.
Wonder Wales is about noticing what others pass by, and building a personal relationship with place over time.

The Worldmind Society.
The Worldmind Society is an independent discussion community dedicated to exploring the deeper story of human civilisation. It brings together curious minds, historians, archaeologists, educators, and independent thinkers who share a fascination with the cultures, landscapes, and ideas that have shaped our world.
The society exists as a space for thoughtful conversation about history in its broadest sense. Discussions range from ancient civilisations and archaeological discoveries to cultural traditions, historical debates, and the enduring influence of past societies on the modern world. Members are encouraged to question, explore, and exchange perspectives across disciplines, recognising that the study of history often sits at the intersection of archaeology, geography, culture, philosophy, and storytelling.
At its heart, the Worldmind Society seeks to foster intellectual curiosity and open dialogue. It welcomes both specialists and non-specialists who are interested in engaging with big historical questions, examining evidence, and reflecting on the long arc of human development.
As the community grows, the society aims to become a place where ideas can be shared, challenged, and refined through discussion, bringing together people who believe that understanding the past is one of the most powerful ways to understand the present.
